TK - 8th Grades
classroom setting
Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic School provides single and multi-age classroom settings for certain grade levels. Single-grade classrooms provide focused instruction aligned with grade-level standards and students’ developmental needs. The multi-age classroom model complements our close-knit school community by fostering collaboration and peer learning. Both settings promote academic growth, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
Since our pilot year in 2020, teachers and students have learned and grown through the multi-age classroom model. Students in multi-age classrooms continue to master grade-level standards. Younger students are challenged to reach higher levels of learning while older students develop leadership skills by supporting their peers. This collaborative environment builds confidence, strengthens foundational skills and fosters a sense of belonging while reflecting the teamwork of real-world settings.

technology in the classroom
Each child will be provided an iPad for their use while registered at our school. It is the family’s responsibility to provide a screen protector and a case to keep the iPad in good condition. The use of the iPad within the curriculum is determined by academic needs of your child’s grade.
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles Department of Catholic Schools launched the Catholic Communication Collaboration (C3) initiative to help expand the use and access of technology for educational purposes. This initiative has allowed Santa Rosa de Lima students to become connected with iPads that support and enrich their educational career here at the school.
