Fundraising
Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic School uses two fundraisers over the academic year to help meet the financial needs of the school. For the 2026-2027, we ask each family to help raise a minimum of $400 per year by May 28, 2027. You can find a record of your fundraising on Gradelink. Any remaining fundraising balance will be charged to the family's Blackbaud account in June.

Book mania
A month-long fundraiser that usually takes place in March. Students track reading minutes and raise money through donations, then participate in a book themed game day. 100% of donations count toward family’s fundraising goal. Donations support our school, plus top readers and fundraisers earn prizes!
color run
A month-long fundraiser that usually takes place in May. Students raise donations through sponsors, then run through bursts of colorful powder in a safe, fun event promoting healthy habits. 100% of donations count toward family’s fundraising goal. Donations support our school, plus top fundraisers earn prizes!
service hours
Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic School promotes parent involvement by providing service hours opportunities. Each family is asked to contribute a minimum of 30 hours by May 28, 2027. Any remaining service hours will be billed at $25 per hour.
*Parents must be VIRTUS trained and fingerprinted to volunteer. Certificates must be submitted to the office.
You can find a record of your service on Gradelink. For all time donated to the school, please sign-in and out at the office. This will be the official record of volunteer hours.
The following will not count toward parent service hours:
- Serving as field trip chaperones or mass readers
- Donating classroom snacks/volunteering in class parties
- Attending sports or parent meetings

Virtus
How to register for Virtus training? Go to https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/reg_list.cfm?theme=0 Use the drop-down menu to select your Archdiocese: Los Angeles- San Fernando Region (Archdiocese). Then click: “select.” Last, register for the location of your preference. Once you complete the class and receive your certificate, remember to bring it to the office so that we may make a copy and keep a record at school.

Extended Care
After School Extended Care is available only to currently enrolled students when school is in session. It includes snack time, homework help, and fun activities.

Extended Care is available until 6:00 p.m.

A daily fee applies to all families using extended care—whether one-time, daily, or monthly.

Block out dates are days when after school extended care will not be offered. These include but not limited to: all teacher in- service days, holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter breaks.
